For nearly twenty years,
I’ve photographed celebrations across Ireland and Europe
Beautiful places are part of it.
But I've always been most interested in the people
families, friendships, personality, style,
and everything
that happens when they come together.
I know when a photograph needs something extra from me,
and when it needs nothing at all.
That Judgement comes with experience.
I want photographs with presence.
Refined, but never without personality.
Some are created.
Others simply happen.
Both belong.
Because a great celebration deserves
more than beautiful pictures.
It deserves photographs with character.
